Hello, my name is Emma, and I’m a fully qualified and insured reflexologist based in Tonbridge. I am a full member of the Association of Reflexologists (MAR) and listed on the NHS Choices register.
I am passionate about reflexology and its amazing ability to deeply relax and balance the body. The power of this gentle therapy never ceases to fascinate me, and I love to see the positive changes it brings to my clients. I have a particular interest in women’s health, enjoying offering support through life’s stages and transitions—from puberty and pregnancy to menopause and beyond.
Whether you’re seeking support for an existing health concern, aiming to reduce stress, or simply looking to take some time for yourself, I would love to help you on your wellness journey. Through individually tailored reflexology treatments, my aim is to assist you in rediscovering balance in your body and empower you to achieve a lasting and profound sense of well-being.
My journey to reflexology came from personal experience and is very different from my previous career. For 18 years, I worked as a Television Sound Mixer at ITV in London, a job which I loved, being immersed in the world of technology, innovation, and the excitement of TV production. However, becoming a parent made me seek a better work-life balance, prompting a shift in my focus. This change led me to realise my long-standing interest in the healing power of natural health. Over time, my deep curiosity in this field grew. I had always been fascinated by reflexology and had personally benefited from the therapy for many years, so I decided to retrain as a Reflexologist.
I strongly believe in the power of mindful choices and natural approaches in our daily lives, simple steps we can take to keep us healthy and enhance our well-being. Any therapy that gives the body relief from stress can only be beneficial to a person's mental and physical well-being. Everyone deserves to feel relaxed, energetic, and happy, yet so often people struggle to feel this way. Reflexology can help you achieve these goals. It promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and improves sleep, all of which enhance both your physical and mental health.
I hold an ABC Level 3 Diploma in reflexology and have completed advanced specialist courses in
spinal reflexology, reflexology for menopause support, and hot stone reflexology.
As a full member of the Association of Reflexologists, you can be assured that I have attained a high level of training and experience. A requirement of this membership is to undergo yearly Continued Professional Development (CPD) through face-to-face or online courses, ensuring my training stays current with the latest advances and research in reflexology.
Reflexology is both old and new. Texts and illustrations show ancient cultures of Egypt, China and India worked on the feet to promote good health. Modern reflexology began within the medical profession in the early 1900’s and through years of research and adaptations has become the popular and established complementary therapy that it is today.
Reflexology is a holistic therapy which treats the whole person, gently stimulating the body’s natural healing responses. Based on the belief that the feet mirror the body’s organs, structures and emotional well-being through a system of reflex points, reflexology uses specialised pressure and massage techniques with thumbs, fingers and hands on the feet and lower leg. This stimulation aims to balance the mind and body, release energy blockages, and encourage self healing.
Unlike treatments that focus solely on symptoms, reflexology takes a holistic approach. It treats the body as a whole, aiming to address the root causes of issues rather than just the symptoms. While reflexology does not claim to diagnose or cure, it activates the body’s innate healing abilities, aiming to restore balance and sustain overall health.

Most people experience a profound sense of relaxation during reflexology treatments, with soothing sensations easing any stiffness or tension in the body.
As the treatment progresses and the reflexes are stimulated, you may notice tingling or warm sensations in your feet and/or body, indicating that energy is flowing. Reflexology helps to alleviate stress and tension, calming the nervous system and allowing the body to functioning optimally.
Reflexology treatments also promotes mental relaxation, effectively reducing stress and anxiety, which can have a profound effect on your emotional as well as physical state. Many clients report an improvement in mood and a lasting sense of calm following a treatment. Reflexology is deeply relaxing for most people, often prompting them to close their eyes and drift into relaxation.
Each person is unique, and every session varies, but at the heart of each treatment is a sense of relaxation, release and revitalisation.
Reflexology is for everyone, regardless of age, from babies to the elderly, and safely compliments most conventional medicines and treatments.
The release of stress can help improve many everyday symptoms and more complex conditions, making reflexology recognised as an established and effective therapy for various health issues.
I find it’s particularly beneficial for aiding those ailments many people simply just put up with - minor complaints and symptoms that have been evaluated by a doctor but are managed without feeling quite right. These may include symptoms such as headaches, minor backache, hormone imbalances, poor concentration, sleep issues, perimenopause or menopausal symptoms.
As reflexology is tailored to the individual, everyone responds differently to treatment. The best way to understand its benefits is to try it for yourself and see how it can help you.
During treatments, you recline in a comfortable chair and are covered by a blanket. You remain fully clothed, only needing to remove your shoes and socks so that I can work on your bare feet and to the mid calf area on your lower legs. It is a very easy treatment to receive.
Prior to your first treatment, I will ask you a few questions about your present and past health and your lifestyle. All information given remains confidential. This consultation lasts between 15 - 30 minutes.
I then tailor an individual treatment plan according to your needs.
The Reflexology treatment last approximately 1 hour.
Any sensitivities in the feet will lead me to areas of imbalance, these reflexes are then stimulated, leading to a free flow of energy and helping the body to restore its natural balance.
Subsequent sessions will have a shorter consultation before the session starts just to see how you have been since the last treatment.

Reflexology sessions are available at £45 for 60 minutes or £50 for 70 minutes.
During this natural time of transition women may be of need of some additional help. Reflexology is a supportive therapy and can help to ease symptoms.
Stress makes everything worse, and this is certainly the case with menopausal symptoms. Reflexology helps to put the body into a deeply relaxed state which allows the body to balance, heal and repair.
Reflexology sessions are available at £55 for 70 minutes.
These longer sessions feature Hot Stone Reflexology, which enhances relaxation to a new level. Each stroke with a heated stone is estimated to be the equivalent to five strokes of a therapist's hand, resulting in a treatment that is five times deeper and achieves an elevated sense of relaxation.
During the treatment, heated stones are applied to the reflex points of the feet. The warmth helps deeply relax and release blocked areas, significantly enhancing relaxation. Additionally, hot stones are used to massage the lower legs, releasing tension in the calf muscles, increasing energy flow, boosting circulation, and aiding lymphatic drainage.
